Lake Braddock Secondary School
Nadine Lilavois is the new Head Volleyball Coach at Lake Braddock. She received her degree from Hofstra University in New York. She is the former Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at SUNY Buffalo and Boston College. Nadine has also coached several Junior Volleyball Clubs such as BRYC, NVVA 15 Select 1, to name a few.
Mike Coffey, is entering his first year as the Assistant varsity coach at Lake Braddock. After three years helping rebuild the Mount Vernon High School volleyball program, he is excited to be coach Lilavois' right hand. He just finished his third season with Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC) coaching the 17s National Team. His tremendous coaching experience in high school, Open, and BRYC volleyball club will be an asset to the coaching staff and the program.
Joseph "Joe" Wieland, the only returning coach from the program is entering his second season with the Bruins. Coach Wieland graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Coaching Education. He currently teaches 7th grade life science at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Joe has coached a variety of sports from soccer, volleyball, and tennis. Formally an assistant to the Freshman and Junior Varsity teams, he has transitioned to the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team and is looking forward to strengthen the Bruins program.
Lauren Mills, is originally from California. She attended Xavier University in Louisiana where she played volleyball on a scholarship as an Outside Hitter. She earned her degree from San Jose State University. Former Head Coach at Fairfax High School, this year she was the assistant coach for Vienna Elite 15’s and our 2nd Assistant for Lake Braddock Varsity.
